There is a link in my article, that allows you to sign a petition electronically to help show support for legislation.

That would be a great start! I too think it is VERY important!Avenues of Awarenesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03658378952674716347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6000348285920475842.post-29151390180772389742010-09-22T13:49:14.116-07:002010-09-22T13:49:14.116-07:00Okay from my interpretation of what you wrote I ha...Okay from my interpretation of what you wrote I have to say absolutely LOVE IT. . . so what I read(heard) was that it would be nice for those families who deal with "special needs" children to have that specified if & when cops get called on the screaming coming from our homes... correct?? This is what I gathered from it... and I think that would be absolutely AMAZING... I know I get tired of the cops getting called to my home because my neighbors who live through paper thin walls thinks I'm beating my son... when in reality he's just throwing a temper tantrum but of course, I still battle with the issue that my child doesn't have diagnosis so I still get that "You should learn how to discipline your child look" and I don't know if we'll ever get away from that ignorance or not, but I'm sure by now the cops know if they knock on my door they are gonna be greeted with a non-bruised screamin child who tells them to let him go live with someone else and I think by now they know it's nothing to be alarmed about, luckily my apartment manager has told everyone in the complex to leave it be, and I haven't seen Brigham Cities Finest at my door for a few months now. But back on topic... I think it would be fabulous if when our addresses were typed into a "police response needed" call that it would come up stating that a child with (INSERT DISORDER/SYNDROME HERE)lives here. It would make my life much easier...

Was I accurate in what you were trying to say? and if there is anyway you know how to go about getting this system in place & would like any kind of help or an advocate for it... I would LOVE to help you out!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13252805237822791541noreply@blogger.com
